Thursday Evening Report

Pilots, crews, and volunteers are trickling back for the second half of the contest.

There was no Grand Prix task on Wednesday but Roman Michalowski [U] and Gregg Leslie [Team SM] flew for fun. They worked the higher ground and got as far north as Freehold.

Thursday is a bust weather-wise. Rain early this morning, gray and cool all day, possible thunderstorms overnight. Once this system moves through the area we are going to have to contend with gusty W-NW winds Friday-Sunday. So, we will see how it goes. As Kai Gertsen [KI] would always say, “You've got to be at the airport!”
