Sometimes ya do, and sometimes ya don't...

The task committee has studied the NOAA Forecast, Skysight and the HRRR, which are all in agreement that today does not present an opportunity for a safe task in any direction.  We could launch, but by 1430 the TRW's and overdevelopment will make a return to Truckee unlikely.

After three days of spectacular flying, the CD has cancelled Day 4 in the interest of safety.  We look forward to tonite's Awards Dinner at Zano's Italian Resturant in Truckee!  The results have been made official by our Scorer, Stuart Mayo, and we'll raise a toast tonite to all our dedicated volunteers and to our podium pilots:  Linnekin, Cochrane and Woodruff!
