Day 2 18 June 2021

The forecast for today appeared to be a repeat of Day 1--the task advisory committee kept repeating the phrase "Groundhog Day." We made the decision to take longer tows to better lift to get started, which unfortunately extended the launch period, delaying the Regionals start. Fortunately, the day turned out much better than forecast, almost typical of a Montague summer day. But with the late start we were limited to a 1.5 hour Turn Area Task, once again using the western part of the Montague contest arena. We hope to explore the eastern area tomorrow.
