Practice Day, 15 June 2021

Today's weather was in a transition between an unseasonably cool and unsettled period and a warming trend for the coming week. We chose a task that would give the newcomers an introduction to the western half of the Montague soaring arena. Two contestants completed the task, two chose not to fly, all who flew seemed to find the leg to the last turnpoint difficult in the declining conditions of the afternoon. With the Ides of June behind us, the rest of the week promises improving conditions.
