Windy Wednesday

Wednesday: The forecast today is dominated by a high wind forecast. Surface winds 20-23 knots at launch time with occasional gusts to 31 knots. A dry cold front will pass over contest area early afternoon. Thermals expected to top out at around 5000 ft., but to be almost unworkable due to wind driven turbulence. Because of high wind forecast the contest day has been cancelled. posted by Leigh
