Day 1 (No Contest Day) report

Good afternoon race fans!  I started raining this morning and has not stopped since.  Needless to say, today was another no fly day.  With the next few days looking promising, we look forward to more action soon.  In the mean time, here is a list of the top things said at a glider contest on a rain day:

1. “Must be a glider contest here”
2. “Maybe it’ll clear up”
3. “You should have seen how great the weather was last week!”
4. “It usually isn’t this bad this time of year”
5. “Is 10:30 too early to start drinking?”
6. “It’s starting to pick up a little bit”
7. “There is sunshine to the West/North/South/East”
8. “Who wants to go to the (Insert local indoor attraction here)”
9. “Wow, I’ve never seen it this bad before”
10. “Tomorrow will be great!’
