Contest Day 4 AM Wx.

From the CD:"The forecast info today is so wildly variable that it's almost useless.  Soundings for SCOH, CLL, & IAH show 5500-6700 cu by 4:00. TAFs show FEW035-FEW040. XCS shows top of the lift at 3000, blue and almost entire task dead. SS/SS looks similar to yesteray with a possible corridor of 5000 cu to the NW.  SS/HRRR shows SCOH 3200 blue at noon, later reaching 5000 cu.  Pedistrian forecasts show 20% rain change and 60-85% cloud cover. HRRR projection shows storms moving into our area from teh SW this evening and shows a mix of low, mid and high clouds over us all day,  I think possible issue is the high cloud cover, which the forecasters often screw up.   We'll grid, watch the sky and satellite and do the best we can" posted by Leigh
