Tuesday AM Wx. Report

from the CD.  "It may be a long shot, but we're going to give it a try toay....Hpefully we can get in a short task......We may launch from the south end. NWS 40% rain. WU 50% rain  (down from earlier). Radar show rain S. of I-10 and some S. of 290 but does not appear to be moving towards us. SS is blotchy, but showes 3300+ by mid afternoon. XCS shows 3100cu mid afternoon. Dr. J. shows 3-4000 cu.  Soundings at SCOH, CLL, IAH all show 4000 by mid afternoon.  Heaviest rainfall yesterday was west of Brenham and NW of College Station.  The area N&S of SCOH didn't get much HRRR projection shows some spotty rain around us this afternoon, but nothing major......." more after the 10am mtg. posted by Leigh
