Day 3 Report

Day three was Wednesday August 21.  A close in three turn TAT was called that allowed pilots to arrive near SCOH mid task to evaluate the weather before heading out to the last turnpoint.  Once again the weather was expected to be a factor by 3:30 - 4pm so the lauch was moved up to 12:15 and Task time set at 2 hours. 

A great time was had by all with Ken Sorenson taking first place in the FAI Combined Class wtih a handicapped speed of 61 mph and his offspring Matt Sorenson taking first place in Sports Class with a speed of 52 miles per hour handicapped.

That evening we devoured BBQ pork ribs, Potatoe salad, Cole slaw, Mac N Cheese and Baked Beans provided by Michelle Sorenson and Rhonda Tyler.
