Friday contest day cancelled

Another attempt at Contest day 4:
We all expected to awaken to gray skies and rain, only to be greeted by clear, bright blue. BUT, the trees were wiggling and waggling. The cold front passage on the surface occurred during the morning with winds forecast to become 18-20 gusting to 30 on the surface with boundary layer winds in the mid 30's. No one gridded before the 10 am briefing and the day is cancelled with 100% support from the competitors. Forecast for tomorrow looks soarable with blue thermals and light winds. posted by Leigh
