Day 2 - Wednesday

And again, Cu's began to populate the sky during our mornings pilots meeting.  The forecast looked soft at first with cooler, drier Canadian air expected to push through the tasking area in the  afternoon.  Lift was soft at first and cloud bases just above 4k agl, however the strength of lift increased and cloud bases ascended by late afternoon. The tasking commitee called a four point TAT to the east were soaring was difficult and then to the west were soaring became fast.  Mike Shakman raced to first place with Rick Hoffmann in second place.
