It's Monday

Good morning,

Yesterday brought a little tightening at the top of the score sheet with Essex, Lee and Cochrane all now within 188 point of each other in the overall race.  Keith Baugh won Day 5 with the fastest achieved task speed of the contest, so far, of 103.46 mph.  This puts Keith in the lead to win the Larissa Stroukoff Memorial Trophy, presented to the pilot who flies the fastest daily speed during the Open Class National Championship.  Jim Lee finished in Second Place yesterday at 100.75 mph, and Keith Essex was Third at 100.36.

During his weather briefing yesterday, Weatherman Dan Gudgel projected that the last two days of the contest would have better soaring conditions Monday and even better conditions Tuesday.

Well…it’s Monday!
