Saturday Wx and Tasks - UPDATED

UPDATE – And they are off! No waiting around today. Both tasks are open…Club at 1305, Sports at 1350.

Wind is the story again today. The forecast calls for cloudbases 4-5000ft, lift 2-4kts, winds at altitude 20kts. Originally, the models were calling for blue, but at grid time we have a sky filled with cu and some streeting. Conditions will soften around 1600, so we are aiming for an early start: grid at 1130, send up a sniffer at noon, and hopefully start launching shortly thereafter. Update later…

Both tasks are using the same turnpoints, duration and a couple of radii are different:
3hr (Club) / 2hr (Sports) TAT
Jolamtra – 12/15mi
Nunda – 10mi
Avoca – 10/12mi
Seven Gullies – 6mi
