| Description: | The 2025 1-26 Championships will be sponsored by the Merlin Soaring Association (MSA), located at picturesque Merlin Aerodrome (2VA3), in Amelia Court House, Virginia. Merlin is a private gliderport with a 3200 foot turf runway and a hangar with offices, bathrooms and shop. Amelia County is an agricultural area and the crops are low in May, so landable fields should be plentiful. Interested 1-26 pilots are invited to come and enjoy good soaring and fellowship. Please register early as the constraints of our field will limit the number of sailplanes participating each day to 20. | |
