| Description: | The contest practice days are Thursday and Friday. The contest starts Saturday Aug. 24 and ends Sunday, Sept. 1. (If needed to make a valid contest, Monday Sept. 2 will be scheduled.) Contestants from as far away as Colorado, Florida, Michigan and New York states will come to the Caesar Creek Soaring Clubs airport at 5375 Elbon Road, Waynesville, Ohio 45068 for the U.S. National Standard and Sports Class Sailplane competition. The winner of the Standard Class competition will be eligible to represent the United States in the 2020 FAI World Gliding Championships (CAT.1) at Chlons-Ecury sur Coole, France. | |
