| Description: | In 2018, Nephi is back in the racing saddle hosting simultaneous regional (region 9) and national racing the last two weeks of June. Come experience the thrill of flying in both the Utah mountains and the Great Basin's thermal heavens. Regional 9 contest entries are limited to 25 gliders and the Sports Class Nationals will be limited to 40 gliders. As always with Nephi events, this is a PowerFlarm mandatory event. After the regional contest is over, contestants are encouraged to stay and continue OLC flying through June 28 when the Nationals ends. You get the best of both worlds - glider racing and then OLC flying at this regional event | |
